FAQ

How do I book you?

To book me and reserve your date you'll need to sign a contract with a 20% (non-refundable) booking fee and the remainder is due 1 week before the shoot.

How many images will I receive?

I'm all about quality over quantity however I certainly don't limit how many images I give either. It is dependant on how long you book me for.

For weddings: For an average 8 hour wedding I normally provide approx 600 edited images.

For Families & Digital content: For a mini 30 mins session you'll receive up to 40 edited images.

How long should I book you for our wedding?

Here's a rough guideline for approx time needed for photos, you must include travel times in between.

- 1 hour for the groom getting ready

- 1 hour for the bride getting ready

- 15 minutes - 20 minutes of family photos

- 30 minutes before the bride arrives at ceremony

- 45 minutes - 1 hour for Ceremony

- 1 to 2 hours of bridal portraits after the ceremony (depending on the locations & distance).

- 15 mins before Reception starts

- 1 to 3 hours of Reception (depending on what you'd like captured like cake cutting, speeches, dancing, group shots etc).

Will there be a second photographer?

80% of the time I work on my own. However, there is an option of hiring a second shooter if you wish. Occasionally I will recommend a second shooter ie if a wedding has 250 guests.

Do you shoot destination weddings?

Heck yes.

Do I have to print photos through you?

Not at all. For weddings and family portraits you'll have access to print quality images to print where ever you like and I'm happy to recommend you to local print labs.

Can I extend the session on the day of?

Definitely. A separate invoice will be sent for any extra hours.

Do you choose the location of the shoot?

Yes and no. It's usually a collaborative effort, we will bounce ideas back and forth.

Why are you more expensive than others?

My pricing reflects the experience and quality you'll receive when you book me.

I invest in professional equipment, education, cloud storage for security, liability insurance, and so much more!

You may receive cheaper quotes from photographers with less experience or who have just started out or perhaps it's not their full time job.

What kind of camera gear do you use?

I use Canon SLR (mirrorless) with pro prime lenses. I also use a couple of Film cameras if you have added that as an option.
