I'm Farrah, a Melbourne-based wedding photographer with a love for 35mm film, beautiful light, genuine connection and letting your day unfold naturally.
My approach starts with getting to know you both, understanding what's important to you and making sure everything is thoughtfully organised along the way. I want you to feel comfortable, looked after and free to enjoy your day without worrying about the photographs.
And then there's film. It's an integral part of how I photograph weddings, not simply a trend or an add-on. I've been shooting 35mm since I was 15 and have spent time working in various film labs across Melbourne. I love the character, colour and nostalgia it brings to a photograph, and the way it complements my digital work.
I'll offer gentle direction when needed, but for the most part, I want you to be present, enjoy yourselves and let things happen naturally.
Whether it's an intimate elopement or a full day surrounded by everyone you love, my aim is to create photographs that feel honest, considered and timeless. Images with a little nostalgia, a little personality and plenty of heart.
